The logo is based on the meaning of 'PRIMA' (= first, super) and the choice of the straight line to represent it. The straight line symbolises the number 1, authority, power, the absolute, that which is outstanding. Also, the logo has been based on the meaning of the word 'framework' (underlying supporting structure, theoretical model) and the choice of the square to represent it. The logo further embodies the idea of balance, based on the principle of Ying/Yang, signifying work-life balance.
The seven stars signify the seven partners in the project (six institutions plus WHO). The blue tones match the EU dimension while the ying/yang and 'ef' are in yellowish tones to match the stars on the EU flag.
